These are the Inspirational ‘Chizuk’ Videos That We’ll be Streaming This Tisha’bav

For 36 hours, beginning on Erev Tisha B’av, we will be hosting a series of Chizuk videos on our homepage in honor of Tisha B’av. Our hopes are that these videos will inspire, educate, and motivate people to grow in their personal avodas Hashem and to help us all merit the building of the Beis Hamikdash B’Mheroh Beyomenu.

Now more than ever, as people are confined to their homes and am yisroel experiences unprecedented tzaros, these videos can serve as a safe, convenient, and powerful way for us reconnect and make this Tisha B’Av as meaningful as possible.

Multiple leading Jewish organizations have already joined our initiative to broadcast, stream, and share words of Torah and Chizuk.

Project Inspire

Join Project Inspire for their thirteenth annual Tisha B’av video on Sunday, August 7th, by viewing an outstanding 55-minute documentary film called “Unexpected”. The film is about individuals who could have easily fallen into the abyss of doubt and uncertainty in their times of challenge.  But instead, they rose to the occasion and discovered Divine intervention when everything seemed lost.

The “Unexpected” trailer can be viewed by logging on to projectinspire.org/tisha.  Follow the prompts for instructions on viewing the entire film on Tisha B’av itself.  And remember to watch the Project Inspire talk show featuring Rabbi Yossie Friedman and Charlie Harary during the last two hours of Tisha B’av when they will discuss the stories of “Unexpected” and the lessons to be learned.

Shuvu

The road to Eretz Yisroel is not always an easy one. A Mission of Hope, with an introduction by Rabbi Nosson Sherman, details the thrilling escape of four separate families from Ukraine to Eretz Yisroel. The new film by Aryeh Gelbard premieres this Tisha B’Av on The Yeshiva World, VIN, Matzav, and The Lakewood Scoop, free of charge.

Be inspired as you see how these and other refugees came to Eretz Yisroel against all odds, and how Shuvu helped provide them with hope and healing. A Mission of Hope reinforces that while we are still very much in Galus, Hashem’s guiding hand is very much present when we open our eyes. And seeing his hand provides all of Klal Yisroel hope for a brighter future and a Geulah Shleima.
